Black Square is produced from a densely woven black cotton textile perforated with 5 × 5 mm square openings and laminated in glass. The dark textile absorbs light, while the perforations allow controlled transmission and visual depth.

Depending on lighting conditions, the grid can appear almost solid or subtly transparent. This controlled ambiguity makes the product suitable for spaces requiring privacy without complete visual closure.
