Rust

Rust Glass is developed from white translucent textiles subjected to a carefully controlled oxidation process. The fabric is treated in stages, allowing rust to form gradually and unpredictably within the fibers. This slow development produces subtle tonal transitions and layered patterns that cannot be replicated mechanically.

Once oxidized, the textile is laminated between glass panes, preserving the rust traces in their original state. The surface remains readable from both sides, allowing depth and variation to emerge as light passes through the material. The effect recalls mineral landscapes and time-worn surfaces, while the glass itself remains precise and architectural.

Rust Glass is particularly suitable for spaces where a calm yet expressive surface is desired. It introduces warmth without becoming decorative, functioning as a quiet architectural element that enriches space through texture and light.

Applications: dividers, sliding doors, feature walls, space partitions, lighting panels.
